I have finally come to the conclusion that my web site commentary isn't going to be upated regularly. I'm just too busy and not motivated enough to update it frequently. Besides, who is really interested in what I've been up to in such detail. However, don't think the rest of my site won't be updated frequently. If I've got some pictures to add or I've been working on some cool stuff then I'll put it on the site and let you know. Hope you continue to enjoy the site.

I have been very slack! It is almost a month since I updated the front page of my web site - lazy. Not sure what I've been doing the last month that I'm too busy to add an update. I guess work has been picking up a bit lately, and I've been going to the gym a lot. I've also been playing golf every Tuesday morning with Jon, Andrew and Jason from work. So at the moment I'm playing two netball games a week, going to the gym twice a week, playing golf once a week, and if I have any spare time I try and hang out with Simone as much as possible, catch a movie every now and then, and try and finish White Teeth which I am reading at the moment. I promise I will find time to keep my log a bit more up to date though. Here is a bit of news about my site. I have added a few movie reviews from the last couple of weeks so check them out. I have been busy the last couple of weeks. Last week I was on a course for 5 days learning all about Interwoven's Teamsite suite. I spent a little bit of time on my website over the last couple of weeks fixing it up a bit and I've been working on a few of my other projects. I also finally got around to adding some more pictures to the gallery. These were pictures taken in Mollymook during the Christmas break.

Happy New Year everybody! Hope you had a nice Christmas and a great New Years Eve. It's a shame it had to come to an end. Unfortunately my holidays are over and I'm back at work now. I took a few photos while I was in Melbourne over Christmas. Be sure to have a look at them in the gallery. Hopefully I'll have a few more up soon of all the pictures I took while relaxing in Mollymook following Christmas. I've also spend a fair bit of time updating the layout of my web site. It is still very much work in progress but I hope you think the work so far is definitely an improvement. I have spent most of the time updating the gallery section so that you have a few different views of the gallery. One view is to see the photos sorted by the date they were added with the newest ones at the time. So guess what, you can now go straight to the latest photos to see if there are any new once since your last visit.

After much procrastination I finally bought myself a digital camera today. It is actually my combined Xmas and Birthday present from everybody. I got a Canon Digital IXUS which is a great little camera. I bought a 64MB compact flash card with it so I can take quite a few photos with it before I have to download them to my PC. The camera is so small it fits into one of the little pockets of my camera bag that I bought with my Canon EOS500N, so I can take them both with me if I want to. Or I can just carry the IXUS around in my pocket. So expect to see a lot more photos in the gallery as the digital process is a bit quicker and easier than finishing off a roll of 35mm, getting it processed, scanning in the images, cropping and cleaning them, and posting them to my web site. It might take me a little while to get used to the camera though before any half-decent photos appear. But I do intend to do a lot of experimenting with my photography now that the cost of developing 3600 (digital) photos is the same developing 36 (digital) photos.

New release.

Cleaned up a few of the pages. Added a couple of images to the gallery and reorganised the gallery into more logical groups. Updated some of the graphics and colors on my website today. Most of it is functional now so I'm happy to have it in the public domain. It's not perfect but I'll be fixing things and adding to it over the next few days.

Welcome to my web site. I haven't had much of a presence on the web the last few years. When you work for an employer you don't get free internet hosting like at uni. I've been too busy building other peoples web sites for a living anyway to worry about my own site. Have a look around my site and hopefully you will find something interesting. The section I will update most frequently is the picture gallery. I want to use my web site as an easy way to share my pictures with friends and family. You'll also find my collection of jokes that I have built up over the years and constantly add to. Also the first web application I did all those years ago has finally found a new home. Hopefully WebMines is back to stay.
