Last time we played Moe's Team it was a very close game that we managed to win by 1 point. This time around though we had an easier time of it. Never really in doubt and keeping them to a single point in the second half we were able to get the easy win.

Started slowly against a team who were very strong last season. They scored a few points before we managed a couple of our own. At half time it was all tied up at 5 apiece. The second half we started a bit better but it was hard to keep track of the score because the scoreboard wasn't working. Thinking there was only a couple of points in it we fought right to the end playing really well and were surprised to hear that we had one by so much.

The editors at TopShareware.com recently awarded my Bradley IE Extensions application 5 stars! I'm not sure how encouraging this actually is because I'm not that familiar with the site. I actually submitted the application to Tucows a while ago but they weren't interested. They said that because it only works with Internet Explorer the audience was limited. I think they need to check how many people in the world use Internet Explorer, because I think they will find there are a few.

Fixed a small bug in Picture Explorer. If you used the Next or Prev buttons while thumbnails were still being downloaded it would stop downloading any more thumbnails.

Looks like using CDONTS on Brinkster servers is not very reliable. As it turns out only a small percentage of the emails generated from my Contact page actually get through. Brinkster support were helpful at first but then just gave up and suggested I use one of the other email components they offer. I changed the code to use ASPMail instead of CDONTS, and at the same time I added a log function so that even if the email never gets through I still have a record of it on my server. Not sure if anybody has been sending any feedback but if you have I am not ignoring you, I just didn't get it. It's all fixed now, I swear.

Very funny Star Wars animation with rap soundtrack. This one has been around for a couple of years now, but somebody sent me the link again so I thought I would put it on the site. Hope you have a broadband connection.

Darren Edwards was creative director at Com Tech when I was working there. Not sure if this is a new site of his, or I've only just discovered it myself. He is into cricket and collectible magazines so that's what you'll find here.

Played another team that was promoted from B grade this season. The game started slowly but we managed to stay in control and were never under pressure. Had a nice win.

Somebody I know - not naming any names - picked up a copy of 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' on DVD from somewhere dodgy like Thailand. Simone borrowed it to watch again because she fell asleep when we went to see it at the movies. The translation on the back jacket is hilarious and I just had to share it.

I linked to one of the movies on the site last week, but I should have linked to the whole site. Now that I have had a bit more of a look around there are some very funny movies to be found here. I love the voices of the characters.

Just had to link to this guys site because he has a cool name. He also reminds me of Ali G, but I can't work it if it is an act or not. See if you can spot the similarities.

This was our first encounter with last seasons premiers. They scored the first few points before we were able to find our range. From that point though the game stayed very even and both teams fought very hard. It was a good game and very exhausting match.
